Ivory Coast invite Troussier to be coach
Philippe Troussier has been approached by Ivory Coast to take charge of the national team at this year's World Cup, following the dismissal of Vahid Halilhodzic last month.

Troussier, who is currently the general manager at FC Ryukyu, has previously been linked with coaching North Korea at the finals in South Africa, having guided this summer's hosts to the World Cup in France in 1998.
The former Japan coach - who took the Blue Samurai to the World Cup second round in 2002 - was dubbed the 'White Witch Doctor' after successful spells in Africa with Bafana Bafana, Nigeria, Burkina Faso and Ivory Coast, among other teams.
And now he may have the chance to return to the Elephants hot-seat - a position he last held in 1993 - after FC Ryukyu informed Reuters of an offer from Ivory Coast.
Ivory Coast, drawn with Brazil, Portugal and North Korea at the World Cup, sacked Bosnian coach Vahid Halilhodzic last month after failing to reach the African Nations Cup semi-finals.
Guus Hiddink had previously been tipped as favourite for the role, after key figures within the Ivory Coast football federation, along with captain Didier Drogba, had revealed their admiration for the Dutchman.
