Australia coach Pim Verbeek is remaining coy over whether he will commit his future to the national side beyond the World Cup finals this summer.

The Dutchman's current deal expires at the end of the finals in South Africa and reports have suggested Verbeek is keen on taking a coaching job in Holland or Japan.
But the man who guided Australia safely through Asian qualification is keen to hold talks with Football Federation Australia before speaking openly of his possible decision.
"Yes, that's what we always planned. I'm going to speak with them [FFA]," Verbeek told the Australian. "I'm going to find a date.
"I know what I'd like to do. I've had a fantastic time here but I'd like to speak with them before I'm going to say anything to the media. I think it's better to leave it that way because [otherwise] you get all kinds of speculation."
Verbeek insists he is still open-minded about the composition of his final 23-man squad and is watching a "minimum" of three players for every position as the finals approach.
One outside contender for a place on the plane to South Africa is Brisbane Roar youngster Tommy Oar, who at the age of just 18 made a real impression on his debut in an Asian Cup qualifier against Indonesia recently.
Verbeek is unwilling to speculate on Oar's chances of travelling to the World Cup, though he has urged the Australian media to be mindful of the fact that the player is still a raw and inexperienced talent.
"The boy is 18 years old. He's played one game in the national team. Do we have to select him now?" Verbeek said. "If you're good enough, you're old enough. But I think after one good game, it's not that I'm going to say he is the next generation for the Socceroos. I hope so. I never say never, but let's wait and see. Let's not put pressure on him."
