Chelsea opened up an eight-point lead at the top of the Premier League with a 4-0 demolition of woeful Wolves at Stamford Bridge. Florent Malouda opened the scoring and a brace from Michael Essien and a Joe Cole strike completed the rout. [+]

Chelsea set for 17
As many as 17 of Chelsea's extraordinary squad will be at the World Cup Finals next year, without counting potential fringe players such as Michael Mancienne and Matic. Its probably as many as any team will provide, and just goes to show the strength in depth (and I suppose experience) at the Blues at the moment.
