Stranraer came battling back to grab a 2-1 win at Hampden Park against 10-man Queens Park thanks to a late strike from substitute Martin Jack.

The Glasgow side were 1-0 up at half-time thanks to their top goalscorer Barry Douglas, who volleyed in a Michael O'Hara knockdown in the 36th minute.

Five minutes into the second half the game looked sure to turn Stranraer's way when home captain Richard Sinclair was red-carded for bringing Stuart McColm down in the box.

However, former Stair Park goalkeeper Scott Black pushed away Danny Mitchell's spot-kick with a one-handed save.

The Blues did turn the game their way after 64 minutes when Michael Moore, who had earlier struck a post, rose to nod in a fine equaliser from a Ray Montgomerie cross.

Eight minutes from time on-loan St Mirren striker Paul Quinn had the chance to win it for the 10 men however he snatched at the effort and David Mitchell saved.

Stranraer made Queen's pay when Lee Sharp chipped in a cross from the left and Jack sent a back-header over the advancing Black.
