Clyde won their second game of the season with a narrow 2-1 victory over Stenhousemuir.

Both teams went down to 10 men and even Clyde's manager John Brown was sent to the stand in a feisty affair.

Stenhousemuir were down to 10 after just 16 minutes when Steven Thompson was shown a straight red card after a professional foul on Paul Stewart.

Clyde made use of their extra man after 37 minutes when Steven Howart finished from Jay Long's cross to put them ahead.

In the second half Clyde were reduced to 10 men when Robert Halliday was sent off in the 65th minute after receiving a second yellow card.

In the last 10 minutes there was entertainment at both ends as Clyde doubled their advantage when William Sawyer headed home from Alan McFadden's cross.

And just a minute later, Craig Molloy revived Stenny's hopes of earning a point when he finished coolly. However, it was just a consolation as Stenhousemuir could not find a way past Clyde keeper Callum Reidford.
