A goal in the dying seconds gave Stirling Albion a 3-2 victory against 10-man Dumbarton to keep them top of the league.

But the league leaders twice came from behind to break home heart's in injury-time.

Dumbarton started strongly with the wind at their backs but it was home keeper Jan Vojacek who had the busiest time in the opening minutes, denying Ross McCord's swerving free-kick and then denying the same player from the penalty spot after defender Chris Smith brought down Martin Grehan.

Dumbarton took the lead after 30 minutes when Scott Chaplain drilled home through a ruck of players.

The lead lasted just two minutes with David McKenna equalising in a goalmouth scramble.

Dumbarton starlet, 17 year-old Alan Cook, restored their lead after 41 minutes with a well-struck free-kick that gave Myles Hogarth no chance.

After the break Stewart Devine, who had replaced Kenny Feaks, brought the visitors level once more with a 40-yard free-kick that beat Vojacek as it swerved into the net.

Dumbarton sub Martin McNiff got a straight red card for a scything tackle on Andy Gibson.

Dumbarton were struggling after that and Scott Robertson's winner when he blasted home Martin Grehan's header was the final cruel blow.
