Bayer Leverkusen extended their lead at the top of the Bundesliga to four points with an emphatic victory over Eintracht Frankfurt.Goals by Stefan Kiessling, Stefan Reinartz, Toni Kroos and Lars Bender ensured Jupp Heynckes' side claimed their seventh win of the season and remained unbeaten after 12 games.
The first goal came after just two minutes, Tranquillo Barnetta pouncing on a save by the Frankfurt goalkeeper and heading the ball on to Kiessling who fired it into the centre of the goal.
Just four minutes later and the hosts had got their second goal, Reinartz heading home Barnetta's corner.
With just 11 minutes on the clock Leverkusen had all but secured the points thanks to a third goal.
Alexander Meier sent in a soft shot as Frankfurt attempted to get a foothold in the game but the goalkeeper was easily able to save.
Marco Russ blocked Kiessling's pass from the right but Kroos pounced on the rebound to send a right-footed shot into the net from just outside the area.
Sami Hyppia had a header cleared off the line before the former Liverpool defender shot over the bar.
Eren Derdiyok and Gonzalo Castro both had shots for the league leaders in the second half before Bender got his side's fourth after 86 minutes.
Castro left the ball to Bender who ran with the ball before unleashing a shot from just outside the area as Leverkusen completed a straightforward victory.
