Lowry maintains scoring runJamie Lowry scored his third goal in two games to earn Chesterfield a 1-1 draw at Shrewsbury after Tommy Lee had kept the visitors in the game with some fine saves.
Lee's tip over from Dave Hibbert's third-minute volley was breathtaking but he had no chance with Steve Leslie's header in the 31st minute.
The Shrewsbury youngster, making his first start of the season, finished a sweeping move with aplomb.
Shrews were under the cosh for periods in a better second half and the dangerous Lowry, a product of Chesterfield's youth system, fired in off the far post with an angled 12-yard shot in the 68th minute.
Substitute Jake Robinson was unlucky not to snatch victory for the home side with a curling shot that rebounded off the post after 80 minutes, before he had Lee at full length to tip a shot around the post.
