HOUSTON -- Midfielder Stuart Holden's goal in the 63rd minute Saturday night gave Houston a 1-1 tie with the New England Revolution, extending the Dynamo's unbeaten streak to 10 games.

An own goal by Craig Waibel in the second half put the Revolution ahead 1-0. Attempting to block a crossing shot in front of the goal, Waibel inadvertently banged it into his goal in the 59th minute.

Houston tied it when Holden took a pass from Alejandro Moreno and scored from 18 yards out.

The Dynamo have not lost since a 1-0 defeat to Chicago on May 20, reeling off four wins and six draws. They remain in second place in the Western Division with an 8-3-7 record.

New England (6-6-7) has lost two of its last four matches but stays in second place in the East.

The teams played to a scoreless tie in the first half as each had two yellow cards assessed for rough play. Houston had only two shots on goal in that span and New England had none.

Houston's Wade Barnett was ejected from the game after his second yellow card for a reckless foul in the 73rd minute.

A crowd of 10,210 watched the match at Robertson Stadium.
