FRISCO, Texas, Feb 19 (Reuters) - The U.S. enjoyed a 4-0 victory over Guatemala on Sunday, their third straight win as they prepare for the World Cup finals in June.Midfielder Chris Klein scored once and assisted in two other goals in the friendly played in sub-zero temperatures in the Pizza Hut Park.
Goals by Bel Olsen and Brian Ching gave the U.S. a 2-0 lead at the break and Eddie Johnson got on the scoresheet just after the interval before Klein chipped in with a fourth.
Guatemala captain Julio Giron and Juan Carlos Plata both announced their retirement after the game.
