Felipe Melo is "delighted" to be on the verge of completing his move to Juventus.
The 25-year-old spent Monday in Turin having a medical and is expected to put pen to paper on a contract with the Bianconeri later on Tuesday.
"I'm absolutely delighted to be at Juventus," Melo told Corriere dello Sport. "I'm very happy."
Juve are expected to pay around €25m for the Brazilian midfielder who only signed a new contract at Fiorentina at the end of last month.
Melo is poised to become Juve's third summer signing, after Diego and Fabio Cannavaro, and he believes the reinforcements will ensure the Bianconeri push champions Inter Milan all the way this season.
"I haven't signed yet," he told Sky Italia. "I immediately liked everything so much in Turin. I went to the stadium and I also like that.
"I think Juve are a great club and a great club can win everything. But to win everything you need to work. I have grit and determination, a lot of physical strength and the desire to win.
"Now with my arrival and that of Diego and Cannavaro, we are at Inter's level and can also win in Europe."
Melo only arrived in Florence from Spanish side Almeria last summer but claims La Viola will always be special for him.
He said: "Fiorentina will always be in my heart for what they gave to me. If I score against them I won't celebrate. They bought me for eight million and sold me on for 25 so they also did good business too."
