Aalborg boss: I only watch Celtic away from home

Aalborg boss Allan Kuhn has revealed he is only watching Celtic away from home ahead of Tuesday's crucial Champions League clash in Denmark.

Kuhn believes is pointless spying on the Scottish champions at Parkhead because their European performances on the road bear no resemblance to those in front of their own fans.

Celtic have lost 17 of 18 Champions League group phase matches on their travels and will suffer an early exit from the competition if they are beaten next week.

Gordon Strachan's side are away from home in the Premier League on Saturday and Kuhn plans to run the rule over them against St Mirren.

"We have intentionally avoided watching them at home because it doesn't show us the true Celtic," he said.

"In Glasgow, they have so much of the ball that they kill teams. That is not always the case when they are away from home - they aren't so dominant then.

"In Villarreal, they played well and were just beaten but, in Manchester, they suffered what most teams do when they go there - a big defeat.

"We will have them watched against St Mirren and I think that will give us a real idea of what kind of game we will have next week.

"They will be favourites but their away record does give us hope. We have to use everything we can to our advantage and we will have a go at them. We will attack."
