Bayern star Ribery set to return to training

MUNICH, September 6 (Bundesliga) - Franck Ribery will return to full training with the rest of the Bayern Munich squad on Tuesday.

The France winger has been out since the middle of June with ankle ligament damage sustained in a match against Italy in Euro 2008.

But the 25-year-old hopes to be back in first-team action before Bayern's Champions League clash with Lyon at the end of the month.

"I had scans on Wednesday and I can say that everything is going well," he said.

"Things are getting a lot better. As far as my left ankle is concerned, everything is in order.

"I am working two times a day, on average, and it will be next Tuesday when I am going to return to normal squad training."
