Sevilla snap up Argentine starlet Acosta

BUENOS AIRES, May 29 (Reuters) - Argentina under-20 striker Lautaro Acosta has left Lanus for Spanish club Sevilla for a fee of $11 million.

'Lautaro Acosta has been transferred to Sevilla,' the Argentine champions told their Web site.

Acosta, 20, came up through the ranks at Lanus and made his first team debut in 2006.

He played in the side which won 2-1 at Boca Juniors in the final game of that year's Apertura championship, denying their opponents the title.

Acosta was a regular in the team that won the 2007 Apertura championship, the club's first national title, and featured in the Argentina squad which won the world under-20 championship in Canada last year.
