MK Dons defender Danny Swailes is a doubt to face his former club when Macclesfield visit stadium:mk in the FA Cup.
Swailes played his first 90 minutes of the season against Bristol Rovers last weekend as he returns to full fitness following a year out with an Achilles injury.
But the centre-half has now been struck down with illness and is unlikely to face the Silkmen. Darren Powell has recovered from an illness of his own and is expected to start.
Winger Aaron Doran has returned to Blackburn at the end of his loan spell but Martin Devaney has been cleared to feature by his parent club Barnsley.
Forward Jemal Johnson is out with a calf injury while Luke Chadwick is pushing for a return after a thigh strain.
Captain Dean Lewington will start for the final time before a two-match suspension begins, but defenders Jude Stirling (groin) and Sean O'Hanlon (knee) remain long-term absentees.
Danny Woodards is back in light training after an ankle injury but is not yet ready to return to action.
Macclesfield could be without Nat Brown and Ricky Sappleton for their FA Cup tie.
Brown is struggling with a thigh strain ahead of the trip to stadium:mk, while Sappleton has been battling an infection but could be fit to play some part.
Carl Tremarco serves a one-match suspension after picking up his fifth yellow card of the season in the 2-2 draw against Bradford, but Paul Bolland and Izak Reid are set to return after missing last weekend's game through illness.
Hamza Bencherif and John Rooney are also available after making their returns from injury last weekend, but Sean Hessey remains sidelined with the knee problem that has prevented him from featuring so far this season.
Hessey's fitness is continuing to improve, however, and the club are confident he will be able to return in the near future.
