Recent loan signing Craig Rocastle will be unavailable for Forest Green's FA Cup first round tie against Mansfield.

The Port Vale midfielder is cup-tied, but defender Danny Powell has recovered from a bout of sickness which forced him off during last Saturday's match against Eastbourne and he will be available for selection.

Defenders Oliver Thorne (ankle) and Lee Ayres (groin) will again be missing, while defender Jeffrey Imudia is out for the season with a serious knee injury.

Striker Sean Rigg has been given permission to play by his parent club Bristol Rovers and will lead the line with David Brown, who has recovered from a slight niggle which has been bothering him in recent games.

MK Dons midfielder Dave King is also eligible for selection.

New signing Michael Brough goes straight into Mansfield's squad to face his former club.

Defender Brough has joined the Stags on loan from League Two side Torquay and he has been given permission to make his bow for the Blue Square Premier outfit.

Fellow defender Paul Heckingbottom is a doubt for the match after suffering a knock in the 1-1 draw against Histon last weekend and he will face a late fitness test.

Winger Kyle Nix is definitely out as he requires an operation on his injured ankle and is unlikely to return before the New Year.

Louis Briscoe is also unlikely to feature due to a leg injury sustained by falling downstairs and the midfielder is likely to be out for another two weeks.

Midfielder Matt Somner is available after serving a one-match ban and is likely to come straight back into the squad.
