Hereford manager John Trewick is remaining coy ahead of his side's Johnstone's Paint Trophy second-round clash at home to Aldershot.

Defenders Dan Blanchett and Keith Lowe, midfielders Jonny Godsmark, Glen Southam (both broken hand) and Craig Jones (back) and striker Lee Morris (groin) all missed Saturday's 1-1 draw against Dagenham through injury.

Forward Leon Constantine made the bench despite struggling with a broken nose while defender Ryan Valentine also picked up a slight groin strain, along with various other players suffering with bumps and bruises.

Trewick insists several unnamed members of his squad are 50/50 ahead of the cup clash and they will all be assessed as late as possible to give them the best chance of playing a part.

French striker Mathieu Manset will not be involved, however, as he still awaits international clearance following his recent arrival.

Aldershot manager Gary Waddock could hand a debut to Antonio German.

German, 17, has signed a one-month loan deal from QPR and will go straight into Waddock's squad at Edgar Street.

Waddock saw his side beaten in Chris Sutton's first game in charge of Lincoln at the weekend but will be looking to get back to winning ways.

Captain Adam Hinshelwood is now fit after a knee injury while midfielder John Halls also has a chance of returning from the groin problem which has kept him out of the last three matches.

However, defenders Dean Howell (hip) and Andy Sandell (ankle) are out while midfielder Ben Harding (ankle) completes Waddock`s injury list.
