Table-topping Stirling Albion are hoping to have Kenny Feaks available when they complete the first quarter of the campaign at home to Arbroath this weekend.Feaks was suffering from blurred vision and came off at half-time last week but he could return.
Michael Mullen pulled up before last week's game with a back injury and he is still struggling.
Manager Allan Moore continues to be linked with the managerial vacancy at Morton following the recent departure of David Irons and he has admitted that he would like to talk to Morton if approached.
He said: "I'm looking to take Stirling back up.
"There was speculation a couple of years ago when we were going for promotion but nothing came of it.
"I've got a good job here and a good job at Cumbernauld College but if they came knocking I'd like to speak to them.''
Arbroath boss John McGlashan will again be without Keith Gibson as the Red Lichties get back to action .
Gibson is sidelined with an ankle ligament injury while McGlashan has doubts over another two players.
He said: "Keith Gibson is responding well to treatment, but will not be risked this weekend.
"I hope he will be available for the rescheduled Clyde game next Wednesday.
"Stirling Albion will be a tough nut to crack. They have had a really good opening quarter of the season and they will be looking to consolidate their position at the top of the league.
"But the boys enjoy playing there. It is a nice surface, a nice stadium and they are at the top of the league, ready to be shot down.''
