East Stirling return to league action this weekend when Queen's Park visit Ochilview.

Jim McInally will be able to bring Michael Bolochoweckyj back into the centre of defence after he completed his three-match suspension.

The Stirling boss said: "That's good news because he is a key player for us. It's been a long suspension for him, especially with the Livingston game not being played.

"In that regard he has suffered most because, had we played Michael, he wouldn't have been kicking his heels for an extra week.''

The Spiders are something of an unknown quantity to the Shire boss because of their high turnover of players since their relegation last season, but he continues to be amazed at how the Glasgow amateurs regenerate themselves time after time.

He said: "They are a club I have a great deal of admiration for. They keep losing players but still manage to find new ones, despite not paying them anything.''

Queen's Park welcome back injured duo Michael Daly and Paul Harkins for the encounter.

But the Spiders will have to do without skipper Richard Sinclair and Ryan Holms, while long-term absentee Tony Quinn is still a few months away from a return.

Gardner Speirs' side are desperate to get back in action having mulled over the 1-0 defeat at Berwick for the past fortnight, with the international meaning there has been no chance to bury the Shielfield Park disappointment.

As a result, Speirs is extra keen to pick up three points at Ochilview.

He said: "We have only played two games in four weeks which is not ideal so we are looking forward to getting a level of consistency to our game.''
