Monaco coach Guy Lacombe has told his players they cannot afford to relax when pointless Grenoble visit the Stade Louis II tomorrow.

Grenoble's woeful start to the Ligue 1 season has seen them lose every one of their opening 11 games, while they also claim the worst attacking and defensive records in the division.

It is a record in stark contrast to that of Monaco, whose seven wins have put them third in the league.

But Lacombe told www.asm-fc.com: "This will be a game like any other.

"Frankly, they have been unlucky in many games but the quality is there.

"They are opponents that I'm taking very seriously.

"I have been very vocal with my players. I want them to be at their best in all areas.''

Vincent Muratori (collarbone) and Eduardo Costa (calf) are unavailable through injury, while Nene is suspended.

Yohan Mollo, who is likely to take Nene's place on the left, has warned his team-mates not to repeat their performance against St Etienne at the end of September.

He said: "We remember the mistakes made during the home match against St Etienne.

"We really need to stay alert to avoid falling into the trap.

"We must keep the right mentality that we've had in the last few weeks.

"We're all committed to moving forward and we must take the three points on Saturday night.''

Grenoble midfielder Laurent Macquet is trying not to get disheartened by his team's dismal start.

"Of course, we're all disappointed, it's up to us not to get down,'' he told www.gf38.fr. "Given the situation, we need to work hard in the right spirit.

"Personally, I do not look at what is said in the newspapers.''
