Exeter will be without right back Richard Duffy for their home against basement side Wycombe.
Duffy is suspended following his dismissal for two cautions during City's 3-0 defeat at Walsall last Saturday, which saw the Grecians slip to fifth from bottom.
City boss Paul Tisdale can recall experienced defender Steve Tully in Duffy's place.
The 29-year-old has only started once in City's last eight games but was introduced from the bench in the 66th minute of the Walsall defeat.
Strikers Richard Logan and Ben Watson staked claims for first team recalls with goals in the reserves' 2-1 win at Bournemouth.
With regular keeper Paul Jones (knee) still sidelined, experienced keeper Andy Marriott made his first League start of the season, replacing on loan Tottenham teenager Oscar Jansson, with the pair fighting it out to face Gary Waddock's men.
Wycombe manager Waddock expects midfielder Marlon Pack to be fit for the long trip.
Pack was replaced at half-time of last weekend's encouraging 1-1 draw with Colchester after taking a knock to the shin but should be fit to retain his place.
John Mousinho is also back in contention after missing two games with a dead leg while Matty Bloomfield is hoping for a first start since August.
Bloomfield returned as a substitute against Adrian Boothroyd's side after two months out with a broken nose and cheekbone and impressed.
Forward Jon-Paul Pittman is also hoping to start after scoring from the bench but Waddock will have to wait to see midfielder Tommy Doherty in action.
The former Bristol City man has not played this season due to an ankle injury and despite clocking up 70 minutes for the reserves in midweek is not yet ready for first-team service.
