Shrewsbury boss Paul Simpson has no new injury or suspension concerns ahead of his side`s derby clash against Chester.Ben Herd came in for the suspended Darren Moss and put in a solid performance at right-back during Saturday`s 2-1 victory over Chesterfield.
And with Moss set to serve the second of his three-match ban against City, Herd will keep his place in the starting XI.
Midfielder Kevin McIntyre (double fracture of his right fibula) remains out along with goalkeeper Jaz Singh (fractured cheekbone), while Stephen Hindmarch is also sidelined as he overcomes a virus.
Otherwise, Simpson has a clean bill of health as he looks to build on an impressive display at the weekend and strengthen Town`s grip on a play-off place.
"I want us to maintain the levels from Saturday`s performance. We`re coming up against a side who have got problems and at the end of the 90 minutes we need to make sure they`ve still got problems,'' the Shrews boss told the club`s official website.
Chester boss Mark Wright is set to be without James Vaughan.
The left-back limped out of the 3-1 defeat at Morecambe on Saturday after just 36 minutes and is unlikely to travel to the Prostar Stadium.
Wright also has a doubt over top scorer Ryan Lowe.
Lowe has scored 13 goals this season but was replaced late on at Christie Park after taking a knock to compound Wright's problems.
Paul Linwood and Shaun Kelly aggravated existing injuries last week and will remain on the sidelines alongside Damien Mozika and Richie Partridge.
Chester are still under a transfer embargo so are unable to strengthen the squad ahead of the clash where Wright will be hoping for an unlikely first win since Boxing Day.
