BOCHUM, October 28 (Bundesliga) - Hoffenheim coach Ralf Rangnick has urged his players to keep their feet on the ground following their sensational start to the season.

The Bundesliga new boys go into Wednesday's clash at Bochum top of the table after a 3-0 win over fellow high-flyers Hamburg at the weekend.

But Rangnick is refusing to dream of what might be in store for his side come the end of the season.

"I am not interested about next May,'' he said. "It would be wise to take things step by step and fully concentrate on Bochum.''

Hoffenheim are being lauded by the German press for their fine performances, but the coach said: "The most important thing is that the players don4t believe what has been written in the press about them.

"I know there is danger of making mistakes in a situation like this.''

Rangnick will have almost a full squad to chose from, while Bochum will be missing Matias Concha (knee), Joel Epalle, Stanislav Sestak (both toe), Daniel Imhof (knee surgery), Vahid Hashemian and Shinji Ono (both ankle) through injury.

And Bochum coach Marcel Koller admitted his side would find it tough to take anything from the game.

He said: "They are on a run and play great football. They are young and hungry, and coach Rangnick has been doing a terrific job. They are certainly the favourites to win this match.''

Bochum are struggling in the lower reaches of the Bundesliga and have won just one game all season.

"We have to accept the situation like it is,'' Koller added. "We need to fight our way out of danger.''
