Chievo will be eager to ruin Inter Milan's title party when they play host to the Serie A leaders tomorrow.

Inter are seven points clear of city rivals AC Milan and can clinch a fourth successive scudetto if they win in Verona and the Rossoneri lose to Juventus

However, Chievo are full of confidence after a goalless draw against Roma at the Stadio Olimpico last weekend and are keen to keep on picking up the points to secure their Serie A future.

"It wasn't easy to play there,'' striker Sergio Pellissier told Radio Kiss Kiss. "They had to win at any cost, they had their fans against them. We gave everything as always.

"Now we'll try to ruin Inter's party, we need the points more than them. We will be facing the strongest team in the league right at the very moment they want to seal the scudetto, we hope that it can be a party for both the teams.''

It is an astonishing turnaround for Chievo who were rock bottom back in January and are now six points clear of the drop zone.

And Pellissier has attributed their success to coach Domenico Di Carlo who took over in November.

"Di Carlo is brilliant,'' he added. "He has given that little bit extra that we didn't have at the beginning.

"He has given us the determination not to give up ever right to the end, he made us understand that in Serie A it is better not to let in goals than to look to score them in order not to risk conceding more than you should.''

The Flying Elephants will be without Stephen Makinwa, Fabio Moro, Giuseppe Colucci and Francesco Scardina who are all out injured while Antonio Langella and Giampiero Pinzi are both suspended.

The Nerazzurri know they stand a good chance of taking the title tomorrow at the Serie A strugglers with Milan facing a tough test against Juve.

Victory for the Bianconeri will be tinged with bitterness if it enables one of their oldest rivals to claim the league crown while it would surely give Inter an added satisfaction.

Luis Figo insists they do not care when or where they eventually seal the title.

"We have four chances and when it arrives it arrives,'' he told Sky Italia. "We are nevertheless happy.

"In a home match or an away match, it's still good.

"Football is unpredictable but it would certainly be strange if Juventus were the ones who give us the title by beating Milan. However, we have to think about ourselves.''

Jose Mourinho will have to make do without Maicon, Nelson Rivas, Victor Obinna and Francesco Bolzoni and star striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic who is suspended.
