Inter Milan coach Jose Mourinho has played down claims striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic is looking to leave the San Siro.

The Sweden striker told Eurosport in an interview which will be aired on Monday that he "would like to test something new now''.

Inter cut their ties with another striker yesterday by terminating the contract of the controversial Brazilian Adriano, who had failed to return to Italy following international duty at the beginning of the month.

But Mourinho, who takes his side to Napoli tomorrow looking to maintain their 10-point advantage at the top of Serie A, insists Ibrahimovic will not be following Adriano out of the door.

"There's nothing that surprises me,'' the Portuguese told www.inter.it.

"You can interpret the interview how you want, but I have known about this chat between Ibrahimovic and the press for two weeks and what Ibra says isn't any different from what (Carlos) Tevez, Kaka or I say.

"I myself said that I have won the Premiership, I can win the (Italian) championship and I would like to win the grand slam of European football, which for me means winning in Italy, England and Spain.

"All this could be interpreted as a message that Mourinho wants to leave Inter. I tell you no, I tell you that I next year I am here 100%.

"Ibrahimovic said that he has won everything in Italy, that he is happy at Inter, and that one day he would like to play football in another country. This this is quite normal. I don't see any drama.

"Ibrahimovic has had his best season this year. He has scored 24 goals in 42 games, he has scored in every competition and he has only missed two matches.''

Ibrahimovic scored in Thursday's 1-0 win over Sampdoria in the second leg of their Coppa Italia semi-final which saw their hopes of a league and cup double dashed.

They went out 3-1 on aggregate and Mourinho is now turning his full attention to winning the Scudetto in his first season in the Inter hotseat.

"Tomorrow's match will be different from the cup game against Sampdoria,'' he said. "It will be a different story against Napoli.

"We have an advantage of 10 points, or seven if our title rivals win before our match, and this means we will have to keep the lead that we deserve to have. We are in this position because we have given everything since August.

"We will have to play with tranquillity tomorrow but also with ambition, with the ambition of winning the match and the Scudetto, to get the points that we still need if Juventus and AC Milan win their remaining matches.''

Napoli have slipped down to 14th after a run of just one win in 15 games since the turn of the year.

Boss Roberto Donadoni, who took charge in March, is still searching for his first victory.

"We are aware that the fans want to see a great game,'' he told www.sscnapoli.it. "That is how it is when you play a team of the prestige of Inter.

"We want to make our fans happy but above all show our fans that this squad will fight to the end.''

The hosts, though, will have to cope without defender Paolo Cannavaro, who is unavailable through suspension.

Maicon, Sulley Muntari, Nelson Rivas and Hernan Crespo are all unavailable for Inter.
