Dundee boss Jocky Scott could be without three players as his side end their campaign against Partick.

On-loan Rangers winger Giorgios Efrem is a doubt with a hamstring injury, while striker Mickael Antoine-Curier begins a two-match ban.

Gary MacKenzie is back from his own suspension and will feature but fellow defender Eric Paton is a definite absentee after undergoing surgery to mend a dislocated shoulder last week, although Scott expects the former Queen of the South man to be back in time for pre-season training.

He said: "Eric's had the operation and it's now just a case of him taking it easy for the next six to eight weeks.

"We want him ready for pre-season and that's one of the reasons he had surgery before the end of this season.''

Partick manager Ian McCall can call upon midfielder Gary Harkins.

Thistle will finish second in the table and can make it nine away games without defeat at Dens Park, where they will be boosted by the return of Harkins from suspension, but Stephen McKeown and Scott Chaplain are still out injured.

Chaplain, Kevin McKinlay and Simon Donnelly have all been told that they will not be offered new contracts this summer, but McKinlay and Donnelly will both be in the travelling party, with McCall hinting that Donnelly will start the clash.

Defender Paul Paton will be suspended for the start of next season if he were to be booked, but McCall insists he is unable to leave him out of the squad.

"We simply don`t have enough players available to leave him out of this one,'' he said. "I`ve had a chat with Paul about this and hopefully he will get through the game without picking up a yellow card.

"We are travelling up to Dens Park with just one thing in mind - three points. If we were to win that would mean that we would have won 17 league games this season which we feel would be one hell of an effort for a squad the size of ours.''
