Peterhead welcome back striker Stuart McKay from suspension for the visit of third-placed Brechin.

The visitors currently sit just two points ahead of the Blue Toon who will be without the services of Graeme Sharp.

Midfielder Sharp still has another two matches of his ban to serve before he can return to the squad while Neil McVitie and Dean Cowie are still battling injury.

Boss Neale Cooper said: "Saturday is another really big game, if we can win that then we can go ahead and get above them. It's going to be a difficult game, they're two points above us in the league but we are a wee bit ahead on Stirling Albion now after the weekend.

"We've really got to treat all our matches as cup finals now and if we can get five victories then that would be fantastic but it's going to be tight.

"Our numbers are depleted but we've shown what we can do last weekend and we've just got to show the same commitment on Saturday.''

Third-placed Brechin remain close to full strength for Saturday's trip.

Boss Jim Duffy, who has secured the services of first-team quartet Adam Nelson, Willie Dyer, Richard Walker and Jonathon Seeley for next season, is still only without double leg break victim Davie White.

Duffy knows it will be almost impossible to catch second-placed Raith Rovers but after a 2-0 victory over Queen's Park last week he remains determined to finish as high up the table as possible.

He said: "I can't fault the lads as they are a good bunch and that is why we have one eye on next season as we want to give it a real go.''
