Brechin City manager Jim Duffy will have to do without the services of Ross Harvey for their clash with Queens Park tomorrow.

Harvey is suspended for the visit of the Spiders while John Ward is also set to be absent as he has suffered a recurrence of his hamstring injury.

But with Harvey - the normal deputy for Ward - banned, Duffy will have to find someone else to come in and cover.

"We've had a couple of poor results and we've talked about it with the players so hopefully we'll get a response,'' said Duffy.

Struggling Queens manager Gardner Speirs is looking for his side to record back-to-back wins when make the trip.

They head for Glebe Park desperate to build on beating Stirling Albion 3-1 at Hampden in their last outing.

"We are concentrating on the job in hand and that is pulling ourselves up the league table,'' he said. "We have got to try and catch the team in front of us and at the moment that is Arbroath.

"It's a cliche but it's very true - we have to just take it one game at a time. It was nice to go into the international break having taken three points from Stirling Albion and the spirit among the squad is good.

"The break has allowed those players with niggles, and those who might have been keeping their niggles to themselves, to get over them and I think we are in good shape.''

Speirs kept his players ticking over by arranging a friendly with Maryhill juniors last week and the Spiders ran out comfortable 4-1 winners.

Captain Richard Sinclair came through that match and is expected to be fit for the trip but Tony Quinn and Paul Ronald are still injured.
