Dumbarton manager Jim Chapman could have midfielder Andy Geggan back for the visit of Annan Athletic.

Geggan has showed good signs of recovery and could feature but goalkeeper David McEwan is struggling and it is likely that Mark McGeown will continue to deputise.

Gary Wilson is still out with a knee injury.

Chapman is looking for a positive start to what will be a vital game.

He said: "The way you finish a game is also the way you should start the next game and I'll be looking for a similar start against Annan to how we finished against Albion. Anything less will not be accepted.''

Annan will have to do without Lee Hoolickin on Saturday.

He is out through suspension but manager Harry Cairney is still confident of getting a result after his side turned over league leaders Cowdenbeath last week.

Cairney said: "We've worked hard on our fitness and the guys have really put in tough shifts during training on Tuesday night and it has paid off so far so we have nothing to fear now.

"But Dumbarton are a very capable side on their day and we can't afford to take anything for granted."
