Brechin City host Alloa with manager Jim Duffy hopeful that John Ward will be available after a hamstring injury. The Glebe Park side are still without the services of double leg-break victim Davie White and Darren Smith is still suffering from a toe injury.
Richard Walker (flu), Ian Nimmo (illness) and Neil Janczyk (knee) will be assessed.
Duffy said: "Had we been playing this midweek we could have been without about five key players.
"Hopefully not having a game until the weekend will have given us some respite and a chance to get these players back in contention.''
Alloa's John Grant begins a three-match suspension as his side face Brechin City at Glebe Park.
The Recreation Park side are looking to consolidate on safety in the division this season and to follow up a 2-0 win over Arbroath last season.
Boss Allan Maitland said: "We have improved our record away from home recently, winning two and drawing one in our last three games so we can go to Brechin with a bit of confidence and see if we can win.
"Another couple of wins would do the team the world of good and hopefully we can relax and enjoy the rest of the season."
