Port Vale winger Shane Tudor remains doubtful for the visit of Exeter as Dean Glover's side look to extend their unbeaten run to three games.
The 26-year-old aggravated his troublesome knee injury against Shrewsbury over a week ago, forcing him out of Sunday's 2-1 win at Chester.
And with Vale playing twice in the space of three days he is again unlikely to feature, meaning Damien McCrory could keep his place in the starting XI.
On-loan Lee Collins returns to the fold after his one-match ban, while fellow defender Chris Slater is set to remain at former club Chasetown for at least the next three weeks.
Striker Steve Thompson (hamstring) remains Vale's only long-term absentee as Glover hopes to continue his 100% record since taking outright charge at Vale Park.
Exeter boss Paul Tisdale is sweating over the fitness of creative midfielder Ryan Harley.
Harley missed Saturday's goalless draw with Grimsby with soreness in his leg and is a doubt once again as Tisdale hopes to celebrate penning a new deal by getting a win.
Liam Sercombe replaced Harley as the Grecians extended their unbeaten run to five matches and is set to keep his place in the starting line-up if Harley does not make it.
Veteran striker Marcus Stewart returned from a bout of flu to reclaim his place on Saturday and is likely to start once again with youngster Jack Obersteller on the bench.
