Brentford boss Andy Scott will be forced into at least one change for the home game with Morecambe after on-loan Josh Wright returned to Charlton.

Addicks counterpart Alan Pardew indicated last week that Wright would stay with the Bees for a second month, but with injuries piling up at The Valley he has opted to call the 18-year-old midfielder back.

Nathan Elder is pushing for a return to the starting line-up after dropping to the bench for the first time this season at Aldershot on Saturday.

The three-goal striker's performance as a second-half substitute helped the Bees come from behind to secure a 1-1 draw and stretch their unbeaten run to 10 games.

Brett Johnson (groin), Ryan Dickson (back) and Gary Smith (hernia) are all still in the treatment room.

Morecambe manager Sammy McIlroy faces an attacking selection dilemma.

Teenager Aaron Taylor was on target as the Shrimps recovered from the previous week's 5-0 mauling at Gillingham to earn an admirable 1-1 draw with Rochdale on Saturday.

However, former Celtic striker Diarmuid O'Carroll, who was left on the bench for the last two games, is pressing for a return to the starting XI to partner top scorer Rene Howe.

And, with fellow strikers Gary Hunter and Ryan McCann both vying to regain their places in the starting XI after being dropped in the aftermath of the Gills result, McIlroy faces a selection headache.

Michael Howard is a long-term absentee with a stress fracture of his back, while Paul Lloyd is set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines with an ankle injury.
