MK Dons manager Roberto Di Matteo is set to revert to the side which won at Huddersfield last Saturday as the club begin life without Keith Andrews.
Andrews has finally secured a move to join former manager Paul Ince at Blackburn after being left out of the last four matches by Di Matteo.
Dean Lewington will take over the captain's armband on a full-time basis as Carl Regan, Sean O'Hanlon, Mark Wright, Flavien Belson, Peter Leven and Aaron Wilbraham all come back after being rested for the midweek Carling Cup defeat at Cardiff.
Winger Florian Sturm remains sidelined with a groin strain while full-back Luke Howell is doubtful with a thigh problem. Midfielder Paul Mitchell made his first appearance since breaking his leg and ankle back in February 2007 at Ninian Park but will make way.
Centre-half Danny Swailes remains a doubt with his Achilles problem so Jude Stirling should continue to fill in, though Drissa Diallo completed his first 90 minutes since suffering a shoulder injury in March against Cardiff and could come into the side alongside O'Hanlon.
Canada international Ali Gerba is still awaiting a work permit and will have to wait to make his debut.
Swindon defender Yinka Casal is hoping to return to the squad after missing the defeat to Colchester with a head injury he sustained in the game with Cheltenham.
Midfielder Craig Easton could also be set for a recall to the starting line-up after coming off the bench at half-time in the Robins last game.
Barry Corr made a scoring return in the reserves against Charlton in midweek following his absence with a shoulder injury but is not expected to be considered for first-team action yet.
Defender Jamie Vincent is still sidelined with a knee problem which will keep him out for some time.
