Dumbarton will be looking to keep the winning habit going against Stenhousemuir after beating Berwick Rangers in their last outing. The game is the first of two consecutive home league matches for the Sons - with Tuesday's Co-Op Insurance Cup tie at St Mirren sandwiched in between - and manager Jim Chapman is confident despite his horrendous injury list.
He said: "Derek Carcary is another casualty and he won't be fit for Saturday's game. He joins Mark Canning and Michael Dunlop as definite non-starters alongside Michael Moore.
"Still, all the injury problems aside, we're looking forward to the game with Stenhousemuir and playing at home again after two weeks on the road.
"It's a testing time for the strength in depth of the squad. When we first came to the club our main priority to was to have a squad that had good strength in depth and the boys last week were excellent and showed a great attitude.''
Stenhousemuir travel to the Strathclyde Homes Stadium with a rejuvenated Scott Dalziel in the squad.
The match promises to provide a stern test for the Ochilview outfit, who currently lie in third place with five points from their opening three games.
Paul Tyrell will be back in contention, but Robert Love misses out after being sidelined for four to five weeks with ankle ligament damage.
Otherwise Warriors boss John Coughlin will be able to select from a fully-fit squad.
He said: "Robert Love was making it impossible for him to be left out so his injury was really unfortunate.
"It's another hard game for us, but it's the kind of game you want to be involved in.''
