Berwick manager Alan McGonigal hopes to have more players to choose from for the visit of Dumbarton.
Steven Bonar, Stuart Fraser, Robbie Horn, Tommy Lennox, Ian Little and Fraser McLaren missed the draw with Montrose but all are expected to be available for the game at Shielfield Park.
Lennox has returned from Australia but is unlikely to make the squad while Fraser has regained full fitness after returning to training following his leg break last season.
Dumbarton will be without the injured duo of Andy Geggan and Mark Canning.
Michael Moore remains two weeks away from full fitness while Craig Brittain and Fergus Tiernan are both doubtful.
Sons boss Jim Chapman said: "The game is shaping up like an early cup final and it's important we get some momentum going."
