Dunfermline boss Jim McIntyre has urged the club's fans to back his new-look side for next season.Athletic bring the curtain down on a deeply-disappointing season against Scottish Cup finalists Queen of the South at East End Park on Saturday.
Darren Young is McIntyre's only doubt for the game with a groin injury and is rated at 50/50.
He said "I hope the fans get right behind us for next season. We need the fans there's no doubt about that.''
"We want to put last week's result behind us and try to win but it won't be easy. It will be a difficult game - it's their last game before the wcup final and they will be wanting to do well.''
Queen of the South boss Gordon Chisholm is set to rest a number of his players.
With the Scottish Cup final against Rangers on the horizon, Chisholm is set to take the opportunity to give Andy Aitken, Ryan McCann and Bob Harris a breather.
Queens still have a chance of finishing third should they beat Dunfermline by three clear goals and St Johnstone lose by that margin against Livingstone.
