BERLIN, September 24 (Bundesliga) - Hertha Berlin and Hansa Rostock meet at the Olympic Stadium on Tuesday night fresh from important victories at the weekend. The two clubs were celebrating for different reasons on Saturday, with Hertha going top of the Bundesliga standings for 24 hours after a 3-2 win over Borussia Dortmund, while Rostock picked up their first points of the season with a 2-0 win against Duisburg.
That was enough to lift the newly-promoted side off the bottom of the table for the first time, and Rostock coach Frank Pagelsdorf will name the same starting XI for the match in the German capital.
"There is no reason to change anything,'' said Pagelsdorf, who added that he was "delighted with the way the team gelled'' against Duisburg.
However, the Rostock coach is taking nothing for granted against an impressive Hertha outfit, who posted wins against Wolfsburg and Duisburg prior to the triumph against Dortmund.
"Berlin have won three games in a row and, at such an early stage of the season, that can take you significantly forward,'' said Pagelsdorf.
Hertha are chasing a fourth win in row for the first time since 2001, when they finished fourth in the German top flight.
General manager Dieter Hoeness feels vindicated by the start made by new coach Lucien Favre, whose arrival from Swiss outfit Sion was greeted with scepticism by some in the German media.
"Without wanting to sound arrogant, I am not surprised about it (being top),'' said Hoeness. "The only surprise is how quickly his methods are working.''
Favre will make two changes to the side that beat Dortmund, with Patrick Ebert (knee) and Andre Lima set to be rested.
Tobias Grahn and Solomon Okoronkwo will be their likely replacements.
