KARLSRUHE, November 22 (Bundesliga) - Surprise-package Karlsruhe welcome Hertha Berlin on Friday with the newly-promoted outfit sitting fourth in the Bundesliga.Edmund Becker's side have exceeded all expectations in accumulating 23 points so early in the season having been favourites for the drop at the start of the campaign.
A win against Berlin on Friday night would see them maintain their position in the European places for another week, and move to within two points of league leaders Bayern Munich.
Due to their new-found confidence, no club particularly worries them, not even Berlin.
"There is no `uber-team','' explained defender Massimilian Porcello on www.Bundesliga.de.
"There is something to be had from every game and we are now concentrating on Hertha.
"The important thing is we don't start to relax given our success, but this team won't do that.
"If we concentrate on our game, with our quality we can cause problems to any team, and then we can get the odd win.''
Berlin go into the game in eighth place, four points behind their opponents.
In a bid to win only their second away game of the season, coach Lucien Favre wants Marko Pantelic to be flown in especially for the match at the Wildpark Stadium.
The Serbian striker is still on international duty due to the postponement of Serbia's game with Kazakhstan in Belgrade last Saturday.
That game is now due to take place this Saturday, less than 24 hours after the Karlsruhe game, and Berlin have offered to hire a private jet to transport their top striker in and out of Germany for the match.
Should he not make it, rookie Andre Lima is in line for his eighth appearance of the season.
Bradley Carnell is the home side's only doubt and Sanibal Orahovac could make his first start for the club.
