ROOSENDAAL, November 4 (Eredivisie) - RBC Roosendaal coach Jan van Dijk believes there would be "no way back'' if his team lose to De Graafschap when the Eredivisie's bottom two sides meet on Friday.

Roosendaal have lost their last six league matches and lie joint-bottom of the table with Friday's visitors, having picked up just four points from 10 matches.

Van Dijk is desperate for his side to halt their losing streak and earn their second win of the campaign.

He said: "Then there would be no way back for RBC (if De Graafschap won). We must get them on their knees.''

Van Dijk is confident his team have the beating of De Graafschap, though, after studying his opponents' recent form.

"It's not a team that first carefully looks at what can happen. De Graafschap gives it full gas immediately,'' he added.

"The signs are in our favour, especially if we can go on like we played in the match against Willem II (last week). It all looked much better despite the (3-0) defeat.''

Van Dijk is boosted ahead of the clash by the return from injury of Pius Ikedia, Bjorn Daelemans and Jesper Hakansson.

De Graafschap are the only team in the Dutch top flight yet to record a victory this term and midfielder Dick Kooijman is determined that wait will come to an end on Friday.

"We are not going over there for a draw, we are going to play for the win, nothing less,'' he said.

De Graafschap's last outing was also against Willem II, although they managed a 2-2 draw on October 27, leaving defender Dave Bus optimistic ahead of the trip to Roosendaal.

"If you look at the way we played against Willem II, we are full of confidence and willing and going to take three points back home from RBC Roosendaal,'' he said.

Bus is set to be offered a new contract with the club after signing an initial one-year deal following his switch from amateur club HSC'21 Haaksbergen earlier this year.

Striker Jhon van Beukering, meanwhile, claims he is not feeling the pressure despite not having enjoyed the most prolific start to the campaign.

"I haven't scored for a while now, but I am important for this team,'' he said.

Van Beukering has a slight hamstring injury but came through Thursday's training session unscathed and is set to play on Friday.

Defender Tim Bakens has resumed training but lacks match fitness and is not likely to feature until after the winter break.
