2008 Power Rankings: Week 4
Rank (Last Wk) Team Record (W-L-T) Comment
1 (3) Kansas City 3-1-1 Top of the table, but Chicago had so many chances to tie, it seems a bit of a fluke.
2 (7) Columbus 3-1-0 Crew frontrunner Alejandro Moreno works as hard as any MLS forward.
3 (6) FC Dallas 2-0-2 Two consecutive clean sheets for the league's only undefeated team.
4 (1) Chicago 2-1-1 Against K.C., the Fire's forwards lived down to everyone's expectations.
5 (2) New England 2-2-1 After all their injuries and suspensions, the Revs must feel like they're in "The Twilight Zone."
6 (5) Chivas USA 1-2-1 Sacha Kljestan, your team needed you badly against Dallas. Was that red card worth it?
7 (4) Colorado 2-2-0 So much for the new and improved Rapids.
8 (9) New York Red Bulls 1-1-1 Up a goal and man, the Red Bulls still couldn't beat the Revs.
9 (12) Toronto FC 2-2-0 Forget the NHL playoffs, break up TFC after consecutive wins.
10 (11) Houston 0-1-3 League champs still looking for that elusive first win of '08.
11 (8) Real Salt Lake 1-2-1 Losing to a team with less MLS seniority always adds salt to the wound.
12 (10) DC United 1-3-0 Luciano Emilio looks a shadow of his former self.
13 (13) Los Angeles 1-2-1 This team is going to suffer badly when Landon Donovan and David Beckham leave for international games.
14 (14) San Jose 1-2-0 A little finishing will go a long way for this smartly assembled defense.
