With United since the age of nine, Brandy is viewed as one for the future and has had to overcome some serious injuries during his career.

The 19-year-old striker has been a regular in the United reserve side, but has not made the breakthrough into the first-team squad and broke his leg in the 2005/06 season.

In January 2008 he signed for Swansea on loan until the end of the 2007/08 campaign and scored three times during his time there.

He returned to Old Trafford for pre-season training in July 2008, but was sent out for a second six-month spell on loan at Swansea at the end of the month.

Having failed to score for the club in his second spell, he returned to United in January 2009.

The player joined Hereford United on loan on deadline day in February 2009.
