This local lad was promoted from the Academy to train with the reserve team squad in 2006.
The right-back captained Liverpool to victory in the 2006 FA Youth Cup with some attacking displays from his defensive position.
He was named on the substitutes bench for the first time for a Champions League tie against Galatasaray in December 2006.
He was also skipper when Liverpool reserves lifted the Dallas Cup following victory over Mexican side Tigres in March 2008.
