Erik Nevland joined Fulham in January 2008 from FC Groningen for £1.85 million. He scored twice in eight games for Fulham as they went on to survive the threat of relegation from the Premier League.
The Norwegian began his career in 1995 with Viking FK before the striker was transferred to Manchester United. However, he made only one appearance for the Old Trafford club and returned to Viking in 2000 where he scored 63 goals in 130 appearances.
Nevland joined FC Groningen on a free transfer in 2004 and notched up 53 goals in 116 appearances and accumulated three full caps for Norway before completing his transfer to Craven Cottage.
