Jordan came through the ranks at Manchester City and was seen as a real player of promise, before he left for Burnley in the summer of 2007.

The left-sided defender, who spent time on loan with Cambridge United, played 62 games for City before being allowed to move to the Clarets on a free transfer.

He made his Burnley debut in a 2-1 home win over West Bromwich Albion.
