Daniel Fox Bio
Send To Friend
Fox became the second signing of the Tony Mowbray era at Celtic when he moved to the club from Coventry in a £1.5m deal in July 2009.
He began his career with Everton but did not make a first team appearance and got his first taste of the action during a loan spell with Stranraer in 2004.
The defender joined Walsall on a free transfer in the summer of 2005 and proved to be a superb signing, playing 118 games before being sold to Coventry in January 2008. Leeds United had also bid for the player.
Fox proved he could step up to the Championship with ease and in July 2009 Nottingham Forest tested the water by making a bid, but it was Celtic who stepped in to complete the capture.
He is a former England Under-21 international.
