Scott Dann Bio
Send To Friend
Dann signed for Birmingham City for a fee of around £3.5m in June 2009 after impressing in the Coventry defence the previous season.
He began his career at Walsall in 2003 and joined a succession of sides on loan, including Danish team Køge BK, Conference North's Redditch United and Hednesford Town.
He returned to seal his place in the side in the 2006-2007 season and gained promotion as League Two Champions.
His form in League One was equally as impressive as the previous season, so it was little surprise that in January 2007 Dann joined Coventry for an undisclosed fee.
Dann made his debut for the England U-21 side in March 2008 against Poland at Molineux and continued to attract attention with his league performances.
It wasn't long before the newly-promoted Birmingham came calling and picked up the defender - who had captained Coventry for the 2008-09 season - for a substantial fee.
