Cameron Jerome Bio
Send To Friend
Jerome joined Birmingham on a four-year deal from Cardiff City in the summer of 2006 for an initial fee of £3m, possibly rising to £4m based on the player's success.
The striker was Cardiff's topscorer in the 2005-06 season with 20 goals for the Welsh club, a performance that earned him an England Under-21 call-up.
With Birmingham he grabbed 10 goals during the promotion season, not as prolific as with Cardiff but blessed with extraordinary pace and a decent finishing touch Jerome has been an important player for the club.
Yet to hit double figures in league goals for any of his seasons at St Andrews, the striker will hope to prove himself worthy of further England honours while in the Premier League.
