Send To Friend
Portsmouth made Arnold Mvuemba's loan spell permanent in the summer of 2007 signing a three-year deal after a promising loan spell on the south coast.
The central midfield, who can also play on the wing, played a roll as a squad player in the 2007/08 season only making a handful of appearances. He will be hoping to make a bigger impact in the coming campaign.
The former France Under-21 international had initially moved to Fratton Park in January form Stade Rennes.
He made his debut as a 55th minute replacement for Pedro Mendes in a 3-0 defeat at Blackburn Rovers and went on to play seven games, all but one from the bench.
The midfielder grabbed his first goal for the club in a 4-2 defeat at Watford.
He came through the ranks at Rennes, making 33 appearances.
Mvuemba had caught the eye after being named Player of the Tournament at the 2005 Toulon Under-21 tournament, starring as France beat Portugal in the final.
