Matthew Jarvis Bio Send To Friend

Jarvis made his name with Gillingham, making 122 appearances for the club before earning a move to Wolverhampton Wanderers.

He began his career with Millwall but was released and headed to Kent.

By the time the 2006-07 season came around a whole host of clubs were interested in Jarvis, who was named in the PFA Team of the Year that term. He moved to Wolverhampton Wanderers at the end of the campaign for an undisclosed fee.

Jarvis suffered an injury-troubled start to his time at Molineux, finally making his debut in a 2-0 home win over Charlton in October 2007. He was an important member of the squad which won promotion to the Premier League in 2008-09.
