Darren Barr Bio
Send To Friend
Barr made the breakthrough with his club Falkirk in 2004. The defender became the first Falkirk player to play for Scotland since John White in 1959 when he earned his first cap for Scotland in a 0-0 friendly draw against Northern Ireland in 2008.
Despite a loan spell with Forfar Athletic during 2005-06, Barr is an important player for his club, although he has suffered from discipline problems in the past.
A Scotland 'B' international, he was named in George Burley's squad for Scotland's World Cup qualifying matches against Macedonia and Iceland.
